By accessing or using LiveTranslateAI ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

LiveTranslateAI provides real-time AI-powered voice translation for video calls and audio conversations. The Service uses OpenAI's Whisper, GPT, and TTS APIs to translate speech between multiple languages.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You may not share your account with others
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Free Trial and Subscription

• Free Tier: 15 minutes of translation per account (one-time)
• Premium Subscription: $29/month with 7-day free trial
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via the Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds: No refunds for partial months. Free trial period is non-refundable

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes or to transmit illegal content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Use automated scripts or bots to abuse the Service
• Share or resell your account credentials
• Use the Service to violate any third-party rights
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

6. Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily disrupts service
• We are not liable for downtime due to third-party services (OpenAI, Daily.co, etc.)

7. Translation Accuracy

• Translations are provided "as-is" using AI technology
• We do not guarantee 100% accuracy
• Do not use translations for critical legal, medical, or financial decisions without human verification
• We are not liable for errors or misunderstandings resulting from translations

8. Intellectual Property

• The Service, including all code, design, and content, is owned by LiveTranslateAI
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our Service without permission
• You retain ownership of content you input into the Service
• By using the Service, you grant us a license to process your content for translation purposes

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
• We are not liable for translation errors or misunderstandings
• We are not liable for data loss or service interruptions

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LiveTranslateAI from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

• We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for violations of these Terms
• You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription
• Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease
• We may delete your account data after 30 days of inactivity

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
